Remedial Massage and Superficial Myofascial Release.
Myofascial connective tissue release or Kinesis (movement of) Myofascial (muscle skin) Integration (KMI) involves a slow fascia tissue release combined with movement and postural re-education to the brain. KMI works on the superficial fascia or “train lines of structural integration” which are like rubber bands attached to and hold the skeleton erect. KMI assists with postural and structural re-alignments. Excellent for sports body maintenance and emotional trauma release.
Reflexology and Deeper Myofascial Release.
The deeper Myofascial tissue is connective tissue like plastic wrap around all the cavities, organs, blood vessels and nerves of the body. When the fascia experiences a prolonged stretching or contraction its cells harden to this imbalanced postural position. A muscle could feel like it has been wrapped in steel when the fascia becomes hardened. A hardened fascia then limits the nerve and blood flow to the organs. Useful for internal organ relaxation.
Why is combining a Belief Shift with Muscle, Skin or Myofascial Release so transforming?
